The Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Centre
for Coaching and Guidance (FACC) is a brain child of the
Education research and Development Foundation (ERDF),
conceptualized by Shri Mahbubul Hoque, the Chairman of ERDF,
which set sail in 2012.
The main objective of starting a coaching centre built specially
to provide guidance for all Public Service Commission
Examinations and other competitive examinations was to bridge
the gap between potential candidates and the guidance that they
lacked. Thus, since its inception, FACC has made it a point to
specially focus on intelligent candidates belonging to the BPL
or minority community.
As there is no dearth of promising students with high potentials
in Assam and in the rest of North East India, FACC looks forward
in achieving high success in the coming years to see. But the
success rate of IAS and other Civil Service aspirants from the
Region has been very low. In the case of candidates belonging to
